SnowSports Industries America (SIA) Snow Show at Colorado Convention Center. The SIA Snow Show delivers the largest, most concentrated and authentic trade event in the snow sports industry. It is the first time globally that the styles, technologies, innovations, culture and energy of snow sports for ’15/’16 will be presented. While it’s industry professionals who meet to engage in business, networking opportunities, parties, brand events and seminars on the trade-show floor, look for events across Denver open to the larger community.

The popular Black Sheep series brings together some of Denver’s best and brightest artists, musicians, crafters, dancers and more to be a part of a night of pure entertainment. Tonight’s offerings include a karaoke showdown—David Bowie versus Devo—whose frontman Mark Mothersbaugh has an exhibition called “Myopia” currently in the museum.

Opening Day at Ruby Hill Rail Yard. Today marks Ruby Hill Rail Yard’s earliest opening day since the urban ski spot was introduced in 2007! A collaboration between Winter Park Resort, Denver Parks and Recreation, and a number of sponsors, the Rail Yard is billed as “the country’s first free urban terrain bark based in a city.” Christy Sports even provides free equipment rentals for skiers and snowboarders Fridays through Sundays, but the area can be used any time between the recommended hours of dawn to 9pm until it closes for the season (closing date will depend on weather).
